Membership of the Society opens the door to all who wish to further their interests in family history, genealogy, heraldry and local history with particular reference to Suffolk.

For 2016 (From 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017)
'Family' categories of membership were removed at the AGM on 19 Oct 2013.
Ordinary, Senior and Overseas Memberships can now be held in joint names.
Former 'family' members will benefit from lower rates with no change to their rights but as before only one address will be acceptable for joint members**.

* Overseas Agents have done an excellent job over the years. However, with the advance of emails and online payments, their workload has reduced. It has therefore been decided that as Agents retire, their positions will not be refilled.
