Shipping & Returns

PAYMENT

  • We accept Visa, and MasterCard using Paypal as our secure agent. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use the shop. You are welcome to order your goods by cheque or money order, but goods will not be shipped until cheques etc. have been received.
  • We are pleased to accept orders both through our Online Shop or in the post. However, we are not able to accept orders by email or telephone.
  • Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the price where appropiate. You are advised to log in or create an account to ensure that the correct prices are shown.
  • Please ensure that all your contact details are correct. If there is a problem with your order we will try and contact you. If there is a problem and we cannot contact you then the goods will not be sent.
 

SHIPPING POLICY

  • All orders are shipped using Royal Mail or, for larger packages, Parcelforce. Products outside the UK are sent by Air Mail. Shipping includes an allowance for packing materials and, where appropiate, VAT is added.
  • Suffolk Family History Society aim to post all goods within 3 working days. Royal Mail aim to deliver mail as follows: First Class - the next working day, Second Class - within 3 working days, Parcels - in 3 to 5 working days. Parcelforce deliver within 2 working days.
  • Outside the United Kingdom, Airmail delivery is as follows: Western Europe - 3 days, Eastern Europe - 4 days, Outside Europe - 5 days. These delivery times make no allowance for any delay caused outside of the United Kingdom.
  • All delivery periods are given in good faith and Suffolk Family History Society cannot be held responsible for any delays. All delivery periods will increase at holiday times.
  • Please note that Suffolk Family History Society do not offer free postage. If for some reason the checkout is not charging you postage then you must contact us. We will not post your order unless postage has been paid.
 

RETURNS POLICY

  • We pride ourselves that the correct goods are sent to you and they are in perfect condition. However, mistakes can be made! Please report any missing goods or other errors in your order within 48 hours of delivery. No claims will be accepted after that time.
  • Faulty or damaged goods should be returned to the SFHS Publications Officer, 8 The Crescents, Reydon, Southwold, Suffolk IP18 6RT, England, within 7 days of receipt of the products.
  • If the mistake is not ours, then you are liable for any additional shipping costs.
